SMS / Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

These terms govern text messages (SMS/MMS) sent to and from my direct phone line, (415) 692-1501 (the “Program”). This is an individual, person-to-person messaging line operated by me, Chris Norris. It is not used for marketing, advertising, automated campaigns, or bulk messaging of any kind.
Program Description
Messages from this number are conversational, individually written messages relating to personal matters and, where a client has chosen to communicate by text, professional correspondence. Examples include replies to messages you send me, scheduling and coordination, and everyday personal communication.
Opt-In / Consent
You will only receive messages from this number if you have communicated with me directly — for example, by texting or calling me first, giving me your number and asking me to text you, or agreeing in conversation to communicate by text. I do not purchase contact lists, send unsolicited messages, or enroll anyone in recurring message programs. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on our conversation. Because this is person-to-person messaging, you will typically receive messages only in the course of an ongoing exchange.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for receiving text messages are billed by, and payable to, your mobile carrier according to your rate plan. Check with your carrier for details.
Opt-out: You can stop receiving messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message, or simply ask me not to text you, and I will stop.

Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Information about how mobile numbers and message content are handled is set out in my Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
